THE RYDER CUP VISITS CAERNARFON back
The opening of the new 3 hole, 9 tee pitch and putt course at Coed Helen Caernarfon brought an unexpected pleasent surprise to our members and staff when the Ryder Cup trophy appeared with Chief Executive of Ryder Cup Wales 2010 Rob Holt together with 2 star players from the Seniors Golf Tour JavaScript must be enabled to view images. The opening was a wet experience with rain but this did not dampen the spirits of the local primary school children who have been eagerly awaiting the opening and the chance to develop the basic skills taught to them by Golf Development Wales Officer Dilwyn Griffiths. The opening was officially welcomed by Gwynedd Council Chairman Mrs Meinir Owen and the facility was further endorsed by Rob Holt and the Captain of Caernarfon Golf Club John Williams.
